I have just downloaded The Worksheet King and I'm being asked to activate the product. What does this mean?

An activation key is required to use the program after the 21 day free trial period. It is also required to unlock the “Print Many” function.
You can acquire an activation key by buying The Worksheet King from our purchase page.
Your activation key will be e-mailed to you after you make your purchase. We aim to deliver activation keys within two working days of ordering. In order to help protect our customers from fraud, activation keys will be sent to the e-mail address you entered when purchasing the product. If you have not received your activation key within two working days of purchasing The Worksheet King, please e-mail simon@happymongoose.co.uk to resolve the difficulty.

I've just entered my activation code and The Worksheet King has rejected it. What has gone wrong?

Make sure you have copied the activation key exactly as it was sent to you. (To save time, you can actually copy and paste this information from the e-mail and into The Worksheet King. Highlight the activation code in your e-mail program, right-click the mouse, and select "Copy". In The Worksheet King, right-click the mouse over the password box and select "Paste".)
Check your e-mail address - it also has to be entered perfectly (without any extra spaces or characters.)
Make sure you have entered the dashes as well as the letters.

Can I purchase the program on CD?

Not at the moment. The way we are able to keep our prices so low is by providing The Worksheet King digitally.

Why am I directed to a different website when I am about to make payment?

We are only a small company, and as such, we pass on credit-card processing to ProtX. Please be assured that this organisation has been chosen because of its reliable, secure and trustworthy reputation. After making your transaction, you will be returned to our website.

Can I post worksheets I’ve produced using The Worksheet King on websites, or publish them in my own books?

Sorry, but no. The licence you agree to when you install and run the software does not permit this.
However, you are obviously permitted to use the worksheets for personal use, and to photocopy them for use in schools.
Schools purchasing a site licence for the software may post worksheets created with The Worksheet King on their own websites, as long as they take reasonable steps to ensure that only children and parents of that school have access to them.

What is your policy on refunds and warranties?

Full details of our refunds and warranties policies are included in our end-user licence agreement.
When you purchase The Worksheet King, we agree to deliver the software (via the website) and a product activation key (via e-mail) in return for your money. It is your responsibility to provide us with a working e-mail address, download the software from the website and enter your product activation key. It is also your responsibility to ensure that your computer has the correct specifications to run The Worksheet King. Once an activation key is dispatched to your e-mail address, the contract is considered complete, and we will not consider refunds (except in the case of fraudulent transactions).
As with all software, The Worksheet King is ultimately supplied "as is".
However, if you do experience any difficulties, please contact us. We want to make The Worksheet King the best possible product, and will do our best to resolve any problems.

Does The Worksheet King contain any spyware, malware, adware or viruses?

Not to our knowledge. To protect our customers, we always scan our software using up-to-date virus definitions before it is posted on the website.

Am I limited to producing a certain number of worksheets?

What is a single-user licence?

The single-user licence is intended for a single teacher who wishes to use the software independently. You may install The Worksheet King on the one computer of your choice. If you wish to install the program on a second computer, you must uninstall it from the original computer first. For more information, see the end-user licence agreement.
Only one copy of each version of the program will be sold to a given e-mail address. Schools wishing to purchase the program to use will need to purchase a site licence.

What is a site licence?

The site licence is intended for a school that wants to make The Worksheet King available to all its teachers. You may install The Worksheet King on an unlimited number of the computers at the purchasing site. The licence also permits staff members to install the software on their home computers, as long as they agree to uninstall it should they ever leave employment with the purchasing organisation.
